Last week we attended the “Future of Fashion” exhibition at CIFF, with participation of Her Royal Highness, The Crown Princess of Denmark.

The “Future of Fashion” exhibition is presented by the Lifestyle & Design Cluster Fashion Tech Project with the following partners: Design School Kolding, Via Design, and the collaborating companies: MP Denmark, Hummel, GABBA, Gudrun & Gudrun, and Matinique.

The exhibition works to promote the fashion industry’s visibility and seeks to support the development and matchmaking of new talents. The aim is to facilitate candidates’ path to the labor market and give the industry the best possible updates on what new talents strive for and improve their opportunities for recruitment as best as possible.

Lili Eva Bartha who recently graduated from VIA Design in Denmark as a fashion designer created her project together with GABBA.

With her project she wanted to tell the story of the development of denim in an industrial scenario. By visualising the diverse processes and methods used to create our usual denim pieces, denim becomes more, it becomes alive. The looks are embodiment of GABBA's dedication to this remarkable material and iconic style. Statement pieces full of strong expressions and innovative technology, inviting the audience to interact with the looks, and get to know them better...

... The integrated technology acts as warning elements and creates a play between garments to wear, and technology to fear. The project reflects on the status of nowadays smart fashion.

We are very humbled and proud to have been part of Lili’s project and wish her the best of luck on her creative path.
